Cleopatra did not murder anyone. In fact, Cleopatra herself died by suicide, as she chose to end her own life by allowing herself to be bitten by an asp, a venomous snake. Cleopatra's death occurred after the defeat of her forces by Octavian, who later became the first Roman emperor, Augustus. **

Cleopatra met Caesar in 48 BC when she arrived in Alexandria, Egypt, seeking his support in her struggle to regain the throne from her brother, Ptolemy XIII. According to historical accounts, Cleopatra had herself smuggled into Caesar's presence rolled up in a carpet, and when she was unrolled, she presented herself to him. This bold and dramatic entrance captured Caesar's attention, and he became her ally in the ensuing power struggle. Their relationship eventually developed into a romantic and political partnership. **

Cleopatra was not directly responsible for any murders herself. However, she was indirectly involved in the deaths of her two younger siblings, Arsinoe IV and Ptolemy XIV, as they were killed as a result of the power struggles within the Ptolemaic dynasty. Cleopatra's romantic partners, Julius Caesar and Mark Antony, both died by suicide. Cleopatra herself also died by suicide following the defeat of her forces by Octavian (later Emperor Augustus). **
